As a graduate in cultural studies, law, and philosophy, I examine interdisciplinary questions from the fields of image science, didactics, emotion research, and educational technologies (EdTech).
- With regard to visual studies and didactics, I focus on visualization strategies for scientific content and its representation in two- and three-dimensional objects for didactic purposes. Consequently, I work on the use of “visual philosophy” in educational work.
- In the field of emotion research, I am primarily concerned with negative feelings, especially forms of physical, psychological, and aesthetic disgust, and how they affect various everyday practices (e.g., consumer behavior and aesthetic perception).
- With regard to educational technologies (EdTech), I am particularly interested in the strategic and didactic use of extended reality and artificial intelligence for corporate learning.
